Meet the judges - Daniela Koleva

We continue presenting our judges in EMILY Annual Awards 2021. Today we’ll reveal a little bit more about Daniela Koleva who is part of the new jury for categories Manicure, Pedicure and Design Manicure.

Who is Daniela Koleva?

My name’s Daniela Koleva. I was born in 1973 in Varna where I live to this day. I have 12 years of experience in the manicure, pedicure and nail extension branch. Since 2015 I’m authorized trainer of Star Nails – Bulgaria Ltd. for my city and the region – I teach the base and advanced professional courses. To me the key for success is the solid foundation of knowledge, the quality materials and the guidelines of development of your master.

How you chose this profession?

As a creator with interest in the psychology I found in this work a possibility to express myself and meet new, interesting people, who I can make even happier after every visit in my salon.

What is the recipe for your success?

The love, the desire to improve, the dynamic in the development of the styles, the technics and the materials require constantly to learn and train to be a professional. That’s the reason behind my choice to continue visiting different master classes and trainings even having years of experience. I consider the permanent development as the path to success combined with the desire to give all the best you can do.

What qualities you will look for in the images of the participants?

I want to see how the young professionals give everything they can to follow and achieve their goals – this is the professional satisfaction! The manicure is considered an art for the manicurist and expressing yourself for the customer at the same time. Many thankful and satisfied customers are driving me to become a better professional.
