Interview with judge - Daniela Pavlova

- What inspired you to become a professional in the world of manicure and pedicure?

- My passion for beauty and caring for people inspired me to become a therapeutic pedicurist. Ever since I was little, I have loved helping others and making them feel good about themselves. Over time, I realized that through pedicures I could not only improve the appearance of the feet, but also contribute to the health and self-esteem of my clients.

- What is the biggest challenge you have faced in your professional path?

- One of the biggest challenges for me has been dealing with the various medical conditions of the feet that clients come to me with. I had to learn and improve myself continuously in order to be able to offer the best and safest services. Another challenge was building trust and a stable clientele, which required a lot of time, patience and professionalism.

- What satisfies you the most in your work?

- The greatest satisfaction for me is to see the smiles of my clients after a procedure. When clients share that they feel better and have more self-confidence thanks to my work, it gives me meaning and motivation to keep going. The satisfaction also comes from being able to help people improve their health and deal with problems that have plagued them for a long time.

- What advice would you give to young professionals who want to succeed in this field?

- I would tell young professionals to keep learning and improving. In this profession, it is important to stay informed about the latest techniques and products, as well as the medical aspects of foot care. Be patient and build trust in your customers. It's also important to love what you do, because that love is passed on to customers.

- What are the manicure/pedicure trends you've come across lately?

- Recently, I have noticed a trend towards a more natural and healthy approach in manicure and pedicure. Customers are increasingly looking for procedures using natural and organic products. Additionally, there is a growing interest in medical pedicures, which include the care of specific problems such as fungus, calluses, and ingrown nails. Technology is also increasingly entering the profession, using various apparatus and tools to achieve better results.

Mission

"Annual awards EMILY" is a dream come true! A competition that shows the best of the best professional manicurists and pedicurists. The format is implemented on an online platform where participants voluntarily create their own profile and photo gallery in order to promote their professional practice and attract new clients.

In this platform, every manicurist and pedicurist can show their best manicure and pedicure designs and models that they have personally made in their professional practice.
